COMPANY ESTABLISHED
The company was established in 1976. 1977: third-party small calibre turning activity commences.
1981
NEW PREMISES, TASKS AND INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES.
The new premises were inaugurated in Potenza Picena (MC) in 1981, starting with turning and maintenance of fork-lift trucks.
1982
THE FIRST HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
Thanks to the partnership with leading firms from the drilling industry, the first hydraulic cylinder was produced in 1982.
From 1983 until 1993
SPECIAL CYLINDER PRODUCTION BEGINS
During these years, new models of special cylinders were launched on the market, with bores of up to 400 mm. 1990: production of drilling components is reinforced, with the aid of the first ever high-tech tools. 1993: start of production of grout injection pumps and at the same time commencement of design of swivel drilling winches to extend the production range.
From 1994 until 1995
OUR FIRST REVOLVING CLAMP
Moments of passion mixed with happiness leading to the launch of the first prototype of the ``revolving clamp``. 1995: improvement of cylinder production with bolted guides instead of the previous screwed-on ones.
From 2004 until 2005
DOORS OPEN TO TRADE FAIR INITIATIVES
2004: Success with the first participation in Geofluid Piacenza. 2005: in synergy with the sales network, the first grout injection unit is created, combining a mixer and turbo mixer.
From 2006 until 2010
REVOLVING CLAMP PATENT, REVOLVING CLAMP BREAK-OUT BENCH, SALES NETWORK
2006: Maurizio Sgolastra patents the revolving clamp. 2007: the clamp bench is designed and produced. 2009: the economic crisis is overcome thanks to the implementation of targeted strategies, creating a consolidated sales network and opening up to new opportunities. 2010: the product range is extended with new revolving clamps.
2012
START OF PRODUCTION OF CYLINDERS FITTED WITH POSITION TRANSDUCER
The range of new models includes the design and production of a hydraulic cylinder fitted with a position transducer to facilitate reading of the cylinder stroke.
2015
COMPANY DIVISION, SGOLASTRA SRL ESTABLISHED
2015 Company division. From 1st March 2015 all the decision-making power is in the hands of Maurizio Sgolastra who, with his tireless willpower and determination, expands Sgolastra srl investing in both human capital and high-tech machinery.
From 2016 until 2017
EXPANSION OF PERSONNEL SPECIALISING IN REVOLVING CLAMPS.
2016: expansion of specialised personnel, design and production of the casing oscillator with a max diameter of 600mm. 2017: development of new workbenches equipped with 80-830 revolving clamps for the maintenance of down the hole hammers, proving successful all over the world. The progress made doesn’t overlook cylinders, which are enhanced with built-in valves.
2018
NEW IT SYSTEM ASSOCIATED WITH INVESTMENTS IN HIGH-TECH MACHINERY.
2018: The year of investments with the I-4.0 subsidy (Industry 4.0). Purchase of a new ERP, interconnected high-tech machinery. ``Solid bases for the challenges of the future...``

Sgolastra srl was founded in 1976 thanks to SGOLASTRA MAURIZIO that with commitment and passion goes from small-caliber turning to the realization of the first cylinder. From that moment on, the business specializes, evolves and introduces accessories for drilling.

The wife GIRETTI NAZZARELLA enters in 1989 and constantly supports him. You are firmly dedicated to the accounting area and today lead the company on an administrative level.
- 2005
Tradition and innovation come together, opening the doors to children. In 2005 he enters ETTORE, current General Manager.
- 2016
In 2016 it makes its entrance SABRINA, now responsible for trade relations and foreign exports.
